RAC says a year of diesel now costs a typical driver £2,020

Diesel bill hits £2,020 a year

• With diesel averaging a record 200.01p a litre, the RAC calculates that a 45mpg diesel car covering 10,000 miles a year now costs £2,020 to fuel.
